FAQ

F.A.Q.:
Q: How many people make up a salon church meeting?
A: Size of a salon church meeting is largely dependent upon where the meetings will occur.  Our practice has been to meet in one another’s homes just like first century Christians rather than a traditional church building or other facility; limiting the gatherings to 10 to 12 people. Once are gatherings reach more than 12, we split and form a new salon.

Q: How are topics selected?
A: We usually start with a Bible verse and allow the verse to inspire the topic(s) that that will be discussed at the gathering.  It is essential that everyone knows the verse well before hand so that they have time to prepare.

Q: Is Salon Church the name of your church?
A: No.  Salon Church is a method, not an organization.  It is how we refer to our method of worship, organization, and Bible study.

Q: Can I host a Salon Church?
A: YES!  Our goal is to offer some advice based upon our experiences.

Q: What denomination are you?
A: Salon Church is not about being a specific denomination.  It is about finding commonality in our daily walk with Christ.  We prefer to focus on being Christians rather than a specific denomination.

Q: No, really, what denomination are you?
A: Check out our About Us page for our story.
